Last night I did the same run, but in reverse. Over the past few days I've run 3, run 3, run 3, walked 3, and then last night I did this run.

In reverse, I had a break at about 5 miles to stop at the library. I ran the entire way to the library, and then ran on home. No walking on this trip. Total time from house to house was 58 minutes, and I estimate that I spent about 4 minutes waiting in line at the library, so that gets me down to 54 minutes for the run. Shaving 6 minutes off is pretty reasonable.

I felt pretty good for the run. I might try walking 3 and then running 6 the next day. That seemed to work out pretty well for me. My legs got a little tired in the 2.5 - 4 mile range, but nothing that was causing me all that much grief. Good stuff.
